Nothing in our community happens in a vacuum. After more than 15 years of working against human trafficking, we’ve seen how issues like poverty, trauma, immigration, faith, justice, and exploitation overlap in complex and meaningful ways. This six-week series—hosted in partnership with Butler Church—invites you to explore those intersections with honesty, curiosity, and hope.
Through scripture, community speakers, and guided conversations, we’ll dive into six interconnected topics, seeking deeper understanding of both our local context and God’s heart for our neighbors. This format allows us to go further than a single workshop can—creating space for real engagement, shared learning across churches and neighborhoods, and the kind of thoughtful wrestling that leads to growth.
Participants will:
• Gain insight into the challenges and strengths present in Fresno
• Hear from leaders working directly in these areas
• Engage with others bringing diverse experiences and perspectives
• Consider practical ways to join the work God is already doing in our community
We trust the Holy Spirit to guide us in ways beyond our planning—and we believe these weeks together will be rich and meaningful.
Dates: Tuesdays, Jan 20 - Feb 24, 5-7 pm
